These are rail road tracks that lead up a dirt road to nowhere. I call this a road to nowhere because to the left in this photo is the Janowska Concentration camp in Lviv, Ukraine. Approximately 500,000 Jewish people were exterminated in Liviv in World War 2, mostly in connection with this camp. There is no memorial here, no flowers, not even a sign. People are living next to this camp in the same buildings that stood in the 1940’s. This camp is now a working prison and it was chilling to see men in the guard towers. Life is precious. So many people in this world have no choice in what road they go down. So many are forced to go down a road to nowhere and are forgotten. Be thankful today for the choice you can make to take you down a road that leads to life……..you are blessed with this choice. “Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between prosperity and disaster, between life and death.” Deuteronomy 30:15.
